We recently installed an update to the Gather theme and now the home page slider is being cropped by the sticky menu. Please see the screen shot attached.
I also noticed that the menu text is now aligned to the top of the menu bar instead of centered but the settings had not been changed after the update. I double checked the custom code under theme options but the padding is set evenly.
Do you have a suggestion on how to fix these two issues?
thank you very much!September 12, 2017 at 3:43 pm #15619
Hi, you can change the menu type using option bellow the page editor.September 12, 2017 at 7:56 pm #15633
I looked for that before reaching out to you last week (the home page was previously set to “reveal” and the sub pages were set to “sticky”) but after installing the most recent theme update, the option for changing the menu type is no longer appearing on the page editor. (problem #1)
The sticky menu is working correctly for the sub pages but on the home page, the menu either loads over top of the slider/banner image or it reveals upon scroll but then gets stuck on top of the slider/banner image at the top and does not collapse back when scrolling. (problem #2)
I’ll attach a screen shot video so that you can see the issue.

Hi, please make sure that CMB2 plugin is installed and change the home page menu to reveal.
Or send me your wp-admin to check if it doesn’t work.September 13, 2017 at 9:10 pm #15687This reply has been marked as private.September 13, 2017 at 9:57 pm #15693September 19, 2017 at 6:23 am #15870
We’re still experiencing issues on our end. The Speakers page and Resources page show only the sub-menu green background where the menu should be, regardless of being set to Sticky or Static. (however, the menu is correct on the About page and Workshop Topics page) Please see attached screenshots.

Hi, please edit the pages to use Sticky/Static navigation type for them.September 19, 2017 at 8:47 pm #15912
Yes, that’s what I was trying to explain. The pages are already set to Sticky navigation but the Sticky menu function is not working for the Resources (post page) http://forestrestorationworkshop.org/resources/ or the Speakers page: http://forestrestorationworkshop.org/workshop_speakers/
Please see attached screen shot.September 20, 2017 at 10:29 am #15934
