    Hello.

    I successfully used your beautiful imEvent template last year. My support has now expired and am having trouble updating. Would like to renew, but need it to be Joomla 3.6 compatible. Also would like the newest version of Azura (2.3). There do not seem to have been any updates in these areas? Will there be so I can renew, or should I look for another event template?

    My immediate problem is I cannot make any changes to Azura Pagebuilder pages. THe pages open, but the save and close buttons are not accessible.

    In searching the forums, I already made the recommended changes to the edit.php file found here: http://support.cththemes.com/?topic=page-changes-not-saving

    Also, the menu animation and smooth scrolling when clicking a menu item are longer available.

    Another thing: I see that Azura Pagebuilder is now at v 2.3 for Joomla 3.5 at https://codecanyon.net/item/azura-responsive-joomla-page-builder/8658367. Is that the same product? Do you bundle or customize it in any way? If I upgraded to that version, would your template still work? Just confused about all that.

    Also, are you able to please answer the other questions?
    1. Update for Joomla 3.6?
    2. Menu animation/smooth scrolling?
    3. Ok to use Azura Pagebuilder 2.3?

    I would very much like to keep using this beautiful template but need timely answers to these questions to do so and renew my support. Otherwise, I am going to have take another route. Thanks.

    1, just backup your site with Akeeba backup component then do the update.

    2, send me your link + admin account to check.

    3, please do not update to version 2.3. The plugin was edited to use with the template.

    Ok, thanks for your help. I see that you were able to edit properly and that your smooth scrolling was working, so I did clear all server and browser cache, but I am completely confused.

    There is something dysfunctional about this entire installation, I believe. It used to work perfectly. Here are my experience:

    1. Windows/Firefox: No editing, no smooth scrolling
    2. Windows/Chrome: No editing, no smooth scrolling
    3. Windows/Microsoft Edge: No editing, no smooth scrolling
    4. Windows/Internet Explorer 11: ALL OK!
    5. Android/Chrome: ALL OK!
    6. iPad/Safari: No editing. Smooth scrolling ok.
    7. iPad/Chrome: ALL OK!

    I am highly suspicious that this has something to do with Javascript, because:
    – Android/Chrome with Javascript enabled: ALL OK!
    – Android/Chrome with Javascript DISabled: doesn’t load.

    Also, Microsoft Edge, Chrome and others do not support Javascript, and either does Windows 10.

    So, with all these variations and questions, there just seems to be something really messed up about this installation. I am about to wipe the entire site and rebuild it, but if you have any suggestions before that, I would appreciate it.

    Everything else seems to be working. It’s just this template/Azura installation that seems to be the problem.

    I was thinking about switching to your Momentum template, but I am afraid I may be in the same situation unless these other issues are solved.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    SOLVED! It was CloudFlare!

    To get a good baseline, I tried installing a clean QuickStart instance of the imEvent in another section of the website and had the same results.

    In going deeper into error analysis, when I turned on the FireFox webconsole, I found the following error:

    Prefixed Fullscreen API is deprecated. Please use unprefixed API for fullscreen.

    That’s when I realized it may be the CloudFlare security/optimization utility from our web host that may be causing the problem. Following that through in the CloudFlare configuration, there is a setting titled:
    “Automatic Asset Minification”
    which was on by default. I turned it off and immediately the animations worked and I could edit the Azura pages again.

    FYI, CloudFlare is a service provided by our web host. It is a “global CDN, DNS, DDoS protection & web security provider that can speed up and protect any site online.” It also helps optimize sites, but apparently can also get in the way. In my case, it was disabling the Javascript animations.

    What I don’t really understand is why it was working with some browsers and not others, but I’m not really going to spend any time trying to figure that out. If anyone knows, please feel free to post.

    I don’t really know how that setting got changed or if a CloudFlare update changed things, but my problem is now solved, we can do updates, the template is working, and I can stop bothering you. Will extend my support subscription today.

    Whoa! I finally got around to renewing my license for the im Event Joomla template at https://themeforest.net/item/im-event-event-conference-joomla-template/10205628 and it says the template is no longer available!

    What can I do to continue using this template? Are you updating it in any way? Is Azura still actively being developed?

    Please provide some direction on this, as I would like to continue to support your work and use this template successfully. (I know I can still use the existing version, but what about the future?)
