I am working on updating the site using the Inspired theme (http://outlawpartners.staging.wpengine.com) and had a few questions:
1. I added a new menu item labeled Team and added the necessary section label to the one-page design but instead of doing the usual gentle scroll it just cuts directly to that section. Is there something else I need to adjust in order to get the animation to happen to new menu items?
2. Is there a way to deep-link to the portfolio page already filtered to a certain category? Here is the portfolio page I will be linking to: http://outlawpartners.staging.wpengine.com/our-work. I am hoping to link a button on the main page to each filtered category in the portfolio but I have tried using this as my code and it just goes to the page with all categories showing:
Please let me know as soon as you get a chance. Thank you for your help.September 14, 2017 at 3:23 am #15709
Actual, there is a third question that I just stumbled across. Under Portfolio Settings in the theme documentation it shows that I should be able to use the Visual Composer to build the content area of the page but all I have is the regular Visual/Text editor for options once I go into an individual portfolio item. Is there something I am missing?September 14, 2017 at 8:27 am #15723
You have to enable visual composer for portfolio post type: http://documentation.cththemes.net/inspired/assets/images/image_5_7_1.pngSeptember 14, 2017 at 8:56 am #15725
1, you have to add scroll class to the page menu items.
2, you can create a page then use portfolio grid element on the page. With the element there is option that allow you enter category to get portfolio items from.September 15, 2017 at 3:06 am #15766
Two out of the three now make sense. I didn’t realize there were settings for the Visual Composer, I figured it had to be something like that but didn’t think to click on Visual Composer in the left column. I’m just not clear where and what I need to be adding for the scroll class. I have checked the existing page sections and main navigation items to see how they are setup and I don’t see anything I can copy over to the new Team section or menu item. Can you please explain in a bit more detail? Thank you.September 15, 2017 at 12:07 pm #15781

Ahh! I knew it was something simple that I was missing, just “scroll” in the class field. Thanks again for your help!September 16, 2017 at 9:58 am #15824
