    Hello,

    I have found numerous issues with this theme. I am working on a local development server, so you will not be able to access it. However, I have tested this on 3 machines, so it is not something specific to my local environment.

    Here are several of the issues I have not fixed yet.

    1) The Carousel does not work in IE (see attached screenshot = ie-bug.jpg). When hovering the image, the title and description jumps to a previous slide with a blank background image. I have also had issues where the image slide is stretched for the full width of the screen, but was unable to duplicate it for this post.

    2) The spacing between the masonry images is not consistent in Chrome. When clicking a filter link on the left (or above), the padding will disappear and cause the images to jitter and shake when hovering around the edges of each image. (See masonry-bug-1.jpg for before filter click, and masonry-bug-2.jpg for after clicking filter link)

    3) Center Carousel on the homepage does not load in Chrome until I turn the mouse wheel (see attached screenshot = chrome-bug.jpg). It’s just a blank screen. The only way to make the slides visible is to roll the mouse wheel. This makes it basically useless since new visitors will not know to do this. This is a big problem for me, since this layout for the homepage is the only reason I purchased this theme.

    Please let me know how to fix.

    PS. I am a developer as well, so if you just send me your fixes, I can update the js/php/css.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    I was able to easily get an IE screenshot of the stretched image bug in the carousel using your demo (see attached images = ie-stretched-bug.jpg, ie-stretched-bug-2.jpg).

    Another bug.

    The slide number order is different in different browsers.

    See slide-number-bug-1.jpg (chrome) and slide-number-bug-2.jpg (firefox) for comparison.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Hi, there is an error with Swiper slider on loop mode ( we’ve ask the plugin author for help ) so you can try disable the Loop effect to check if the problem is fixed.
    We will update theme to fix it ASAP.

    Thank you.

    Disabling loop mode only fixes initial loading in Chrome.

    However…

    – The Carousel is still broken in IE.
    – You did not address the spacing bug between masonry images in the portfolio. This is still broken in Chrome.

    The masonry portfolio and homepage carousel are the two main features of this theme. To be honest, it seems this theme was not properly tested in browsers before being released for sale. I paid for your theme, and received a broken product. It doesn’t bring me any comfort that you don’t even address 60% of the issues I listed.

    Please address the other issues, so I can focus on the work I need to do instead of doing QA for you.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    1, how did you get the error? I’ve tested and it still working. (Microsoft Egde browser)

    2, and did you mean this portfolio mansory page: http://demowp.cththemes.com/inshot/portfolio-sidebar-filter/ ? Is there the error on the demo?

    1) No, the bug is in Internet Explorer 11 (which you stating in the theme listing was compatible) — see images. I have found like 4 more problems in Internet Explorer. The slider carousel is basically useless in IE 11, the most recent version.

    2) Yes, this page: http://demowp.cththemes.com/inshot/portfolio-sidebar-filter/. And yes, I just tested in Chrome on your demo and got the same error. Click the filter links on the right a few times and you will see the padding between images disappears. They will then shake when you hover. This is specifically in Chrome, the most widely used browser.

    Another Internet Explorer screenshot of the carousel using full screen mode on your live demo. Images are stretched vertically.

    Internet Explorer is one of the widest used browsers on the planet. I cannot use a theme if it does not work in the latest version.

    Okay, thank you.

    Another quick suggestion…

    Since this is a “photography” theme, it helps to add –> image-rendering: -webkit-optimize-contrast; <– to the image styles. This drastically improves the image quality (removing fuzzy images) for downscaled media on Chrome (which most will be).

    Updated. Nothing has changed. Tested on 3 machines. Still broken in Internet Explorer and Chrome. Also, no changes to the masonry bug.

    I give up.

    Here is another screenshot from your demo in Internet Explorer. The image is stretched and breaks when scrolling. This slider doesn’t work anywhere on any browser except Firefox.

    I see you changed js files in the Theme update. The problem in Internet Explorer is with the CSS flex, not javascript.

    Adding {display:block;} instead of {display:flex;} on .slider-wrap .swiper-slide, .center-carousel .swiper-slide fixes image stretching and image jump on hover in Internet Explorer.

    The CSS {top:40px;opacity:1;visibility:visible;} from .swiper-slide:hover .slider-zoom is what is causing the image jump when using flex.

    For now, I just added…

    .slider-wrap .swiper-slide, .center-carousel .swiper-slide {
    display: block !important;
    }

    …to my CSS as a temporary fix. I don’t want to keep it this way as it is not good to have conflicting CSS display styles.

    Other issues not yet fixed:
    – The slider not showing on the homepage in Chrome
    – masonry spacing between images on Chrome

    Changing overflow-x:hidden; on .folio-grid-folios-wrap to overflow:hidden; fixes masonry spacing issue in Chrome.

    Hi, you can try this hack for IE 10+ only:

    @media all and (-ms-high-contrast: none), (-ms-high-contrast: active) {
    /* IE10+ CSS styles go here */
    	.slider-wrap .swiper-slide , .center-carousel .swiper-slide , .fs-gallery-wrap .swiper-slide , .portfolio-wrap .swiper-slide {
    		display: block;
    	}
    }
