BTW, great theme, really enjoying it, and the support has been super strong and speedy. Thank you again.
One additional question please, likely the last I’ll need to ask, I regard your time is valuable:
Is there a way to force images for a certain category to load once clicked? My client is a painter, and to support her stature and credibility, it’s important to demonstrate she’s prolific across a basic category, like ‘Landscapes’ for instance. Currently a user might mistakenly assume her experience is limited since only one or two images would appear, since they’re not aware they’d need to load all images in advance in order to see all images applicable to a certain category.
I hope that makes sense. Perhaps this could be useful for a future update, but It would be great if I could drop something in sooner.
Not on page load but on click. The user selects a category to filter, initiating the loading of all images for that category. For the user it delivers on the promise of the filter (otherwise I think it’s a bit misleading).
Side note: A load more option (after selection of a filter) would be ideal, but that’s too much to ask I realize. Perhaps a future consideration.
THANK YOU for following up. Sorry to not be clear. Allow me to walk you through it. BTW I think this is a feature that would be useful for others.
1. Like mine, a typical portfolio has a few dozen total images.
2. I have Load More turned on. I have my portfolio page set to load only 8-10 images at first (a fraction of the total).
3. When a user selects any of the categories (besides “all”) in the footer, I’d like ALL images for that category to begin loading. If you think it’s do-able 🙂
The problem it solves:
Ovoids having a user mistakenly think that only 1 image (or 2 images) applies to a category.
