when I insert a gallery of images and decrease the size of the browser window, the gallery is torn and does not maintain the right proportions.

Is this right if you use size: 500×350 ?
I saw you are using 760 × 503.

I solved by installing another image slider plugin.
Less nice but behaves responsibly with every browser size
